TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Managing an international telecommunications infrastructure
  • Integrating large scale enterprise client solutions with a global IP/MPLS backbone
  • Managing multi-service edge switch functions
  • Providing presales engineering support
  • Collaborating with switch and billing engineers to ensure core network interoperability and carrier grade service for voice and data transmissions.

Candidates should possess:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, operations research or computer science
  • A minimum of five years' technical experience in the telecommunications field, including experience in leading the network design of large scale enterprise/service provider networks
  • Working knowledge of telecommunications and routing protocols
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Network Operations Centre (NOC) TECHNICIANS

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the network 24/7/365
  • Detect service issues, attempting to handle them before they affect our customers
  • Interface with Customer
  • Track e-mail and service requests in the ticketing system to ensure that customer requests are being handled in a timely manner.
  • Execute Escalation procedures
  • willing to work on projects and attend training sessions

Candidates should possess:

  • Strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software including familiarity with other Windows based software and the Internet.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good reading comprehension.
  • Strong statistical analysis
  • Ability to multi-task and work under extreme pressure
