TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Managing an international telecommunications infrastructure
- Integrating large scale enterprise client solutions with a global IP/MPLS backbone
- Managing multi-service edge switch functions
- Providing presales engineering support
- Collaborating with switch and billing engineers to ensure core network interoperability and carrier grade service for voice and data transmissions.
Candidates should possess:
- A degree in electrical engineering, operations research or computer science
- A minimum of five years' technical experience in the telecommunications field, including experience in leading the network design of large scale enterprise/service provider networks
- Working knowledge of telecommunications and routing protocols
- Strong customer service orientation.
Network Operations Centre (NOC) TECHNICIANS
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the network 24/7/365
- Detect service issues, attempting to handle them before they affect our customers
- Interface with Customer
- Track e-mail and service requests in the ticketing system to ensure that customer requests are being handled in a timely manner.
- Execute Escalation procedures
- willing to work on projects and attend training sessions
Candidates should possess:
- Strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software including familiarity with other Windows based software and the Internet.
- Excellent customer service skills and good reading comprehension.
- Strong statistical analysis
- Ability to multi-task and work under extreme pressure
